There are no words
It’s in French, because apparently the copy I downloaded is, well, French. But nevertheless one of my most favorite parts in the movie. I first saw this on August 28, 2009. My grandparents’ wedding anniversary. This morning I saw some parts of it. Let’s just say I’ve been looking for a Kleenex. I remember my Nanay, I think about whether she was indeed as happy with her adventure as Ellie; I think about their marriage. I think about how she was my Mr. Frederikson. She took care of us so well and she loved us so much. I miss her everyday. She’s making sure we’re okay, through all our adventures.
And in the end, everything will work out perfectly.
